Bristol Park Off-Road Track 3/07/10 2:45pm
As a result of the meeting Friday 2 July the next points raceday on Sunday 11 July at Bristol Park will be the last in its current format.
At the conclusion of racing that day the ropes, astro truf etc will be completely removed from the track.
As soon after that day (weather permitting) contractors will completely flatten the track area. Once that is done clay will brought in and at the first instance after that the track new build will commence. Should weather dictate when this can actually be done the Club will forgo any further racing at Bristol Park till it is completely rebuilt.
Thanks to all that attended the meeting last night, it was a highly positive and productive meeting and has set good initiatives for HRCCC moving forward.
18th Scale Indoor Racing Update 29/06/10 10:12pm
Steady progress on the 18th scale indoor track so far. The track design is complete and the barriers have all been cut and tested today. The track has a very nice flow to it with a fairly decent straight for the 18ths. You can see a short video of the track so far by clicking here. Next up is jumps and a wall ride. Electric On-road points round 5 - 4 July 2010 29/06/10 6:32pm
Electric racing is scheduled for this Sunday 4 July 2010 at 41 Northway St Te Rapa Hamilton.
We are again indoors so this meeting will NOT be cancelled.
Normal classes being run, with normal prices per car.
Doors open at 9:00 for practice and registration.
Drivers Briefing at 10:50.
Racing starts 11:00.
Meeting Friday 2 July 2010 29/06/10 6:25pm
A meeting is being held at 41 Northway St Te Rapa this Friday at 7:30pm to discuss the current situation with Off-Road racing at HRCCC.
This meeting is intended to allow you, the racers, to have your input into how to rectify the decline in numbers and address the condition of the track.
Please attend if you can.
