New Day & Time for Electric On-road 13/07/10 9:15am
At the last committee meeting it was decided to change the day and time for electric on-road racing back to the traditional Saturday evening slot.
The next meeting has therefore been moved from the 1st of August to the 31st of July (See updated calendar).
Times will be as follows:
Doors Open: 12-noon
Registration Opens: 2pm
Registration Closes/Drivers Briefing: 2:50pm
Racing Starts: 3pm
We will stay with 5 minute racing (8min for pan chassis).
FREE TRIAL - Northway St Indoor Electric 12/07/10 10:27pm
This Wednesday night 14 July, the doors at Northway St will be open from 5:00 until 8:00 for you to run on the track.
This will be un-timed and is purely to test the surface as we may have solved the grip issue. Come down and help us out. Your thoughts/suggestions will be considered.
Off-road Club Points R6 10/07/10 9:23am
Round 6 of 2010 Off-Road Club points is scheduled for this Sunday 11 July.
Registration closes 10.30am - Please take the time to pre-register by 4pm Saturday on the website
Racing Starts 11.00am. Classes: Buggy - Truggy - CORR Trucks.
Should racing be cancelled due to bad weather a post will be made here and on RC racer around 7:15am on the day. No post, assume racing is on.
The track will be open 9.00am as no Dog Club activity and the Council has approved an early start.
Please note also we would like you all to stay on after and help remove all ropes, astro turf etc in readness for the track rebuild to commence at soonest.
2010 IC Off-Road Nationals 6/07/10 11:07pm
HRCCC has secured the dates of 1-3 October 2010 during which time we will host the 2010 IC Off-Road Nationals.
This meeting will be held at our purpose built track situated in Bristol Park Te Rapa.
Entry forms and information packs are expected to be released mid next week.

Drivers Series 2010 6/07/10 11:02pm
The HRCCC committee are happy to announce that dates have been set for Drivers Series 2010.
We have changed the format a little this year, due to the current financial climate in an attempt to make this prestigious event affordable for all.
The dates are 3-5 September 2010.
There will be one round on Friday night, 2 Rounds Saturday and the final round Sunday.
Entry forms and information packs are expected to be released mid next week.

Racing Type sponsors first event at Northway St 5/07/10 7:36pm
HRCCC held its first EP on-road race meeting at the newly acquired in-door venue located at 41 Northway St Hamilton.
The meetings was a success albeit that we need to improve the grip on the track.
Racing Type kindly sponsored the meeting which will help with paying for the venue.
