EP Offroad this Saturday, 4th of September 29/08/10 1:42pm
The increasingly popular electric off-road comes back to Hamilton this Saturday.
All the normal classes are on offer along with the new rally class. 1/10 full bodied car which must be prepared to take the jumps.
Doors open: 12:00
Registration: 2 - 2:50
Racing starts at 3:00
Bust out your big wheels and come have some fun.
Venue: 41 Northway St Te Rapa Hamilton.
Please pre-register if you can.
On-road Club Champs - Round 6 - 28th of August 23/08/10 3:30pm
Round 6 of the club on-road champs will be this Saturday, the 28th of August at 41 Northway Street.
This time we will have a number of young visitors from the Muscular Dystrophe Association visiting to see what we do and to have a go. We very much want to include them in our sport, so would appreciate if any members have spare cars they can set up to race that they wouldn't mind bringing along to lend to our visitors. Any type (on-road, off-road, monster truck) so long as they are reasonably reliable and are de-tuned so that they are slow for these beginners. Anybody who is keen to participate in this needs to be prepared to accept that some damage may come to these cars as a result, but that it is for a good cause.
Times will be as follows:
Doors Open: 12-noon
Registration Opens: 2pm
Registration Closes/Drivers Briefing: 2:50pm
Racing Starts: 3pm
We will stay with 5 minute racing (8min for pan chassis).
The usual race fees apply. Please pre-register if you can as it speeds up the registration process for you and for us.

Nitro Off-road round 7 Cancelled 19/08/10 7:53pm
Round 7 of the 2010 Gas Off-road points scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled due to the track reconstruction.
Whilst the reconstruction is coming together nicely the weather has not helped us at all.
Keep your eyes right here for developments.

2010 Remits 16/08/10 6:37pm
The time has come again for us to submit our suggestions for rule changes/additions to the NZRCA for the 2011 season.
These must be submitted by 1 September 2010.
This in mind please have your suggestions along with a reason for the change to secretary of the HRCCC by 23 August 2010.
The committee will be meeting on 24 August to collate the changes we wish to submit.
18th Scale Indoor - Round Two 15/08/10 6:48pm
The 18th Scale cars are back in action on Tuesday night (17th). It all takes place at Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club which is at the end of Commodore Ave. Doors open at 6pm with racing starting at 7pm. Should be a fantastic nights racing with the number of cars likely to rise.
