2012 Offroad Season starts this Sunday 29th - Non Points  24/01/12 10:13PM

The start of the 2012 8th Scale Offroad season takes place this Sunday (29th). This meeting is a fun meeting only but is a very good opportunity to get your club membership sorted before the points season begins on February 12th. Grab a copy of the 2012 Membership form from the website, fill it out, and hand it Shane McLeod (Club Treasurer) along with your subs. There is now a 6 month and 12 month membership option. The venue is Bristol Park, Te Rapa. Racing starts at 11am with registrations closing at 10.30am. Club Members are $10 for the first car and $5 for each additional car. Non Club Members are $12 for the first car and $8 for each additional car. Food and Drink will be available on site. Please pre-reg via the website for the meeting if you can. We’ll make a call at 7.30am if rain looks like it might interrupt proceedings. A post will go here and onto the RCRacer.co.nz forums advising everyone of a cancelation. There is no rain day scheduled for this meeting so in the event of it being cancelled, the next meeting will be our first points meeting on the 12th Feb.

The venue is 82 Avalon Drive. Track opens at 9am with registrations closing at 10am, Racing will start at 10:30am. Club Members are $8 for the first car and $6 for each additional car. Non Club Members are $12 for the first car and $8 for each additional car. Food and Drink will be available on site. Please pre-reg via the website for the meeting if you can. 8th Scale Offroad Club Champs - Final Round this Sunday  06/12/11 12:33PM

Hi Everyone, The final round of the 2011 8th Scale Offroad Club Champs takes place this Sunday 11th December. Gates open at 9.30am, registrations up till 10.30am and racing getting underway at 11am. Please pre-register via the clubs website for the meeting if you can. Members - $10 for first car, $5 for second car, Non-Members - $12 for first car, $8 for second car. As this is the final round of the offroad club champs, HRCCC will be putting on a free lunch-time BBQ for all present at the meeting. Chocolate bars, canned drinks and bottled water will be available for purchase on the day also. A post will be placed on here and the rcracer.co.nz forums at 7.30am advising everyone of any cancellations due to rain. If the meeting is cancelled, prize giving will take place at midday inside the Hot-Rod clubrooms (there is no rain day scheduled for this meeting). 2011 EP Onroad Season Comes To An End  04/12/11 06:50PM

A huge thanks to the many races who supported HRCCC during the 2011 EP onroad season. Final results along with the points tables have now been archived for future reference. The 2012 season will being on 21st January 2012 with a fun day. Congratulations to all of the guys who achieved their goals this year and well done to the club champs - Bradley Forsyth (Juniors), Brendon Southey (M-Chassis & Touring Stock), Zoltan Matty (Trucks), Shane Gollop (Formula 1), Grant Forsyth (Super Stock), Andrew Webber (Modified). Look forward to catching up with everyone again in 2012. Have a safe and happy Xmas and New Years.
